The IRF has been assisting public and private stakeholders in the road, transport and mobility sectors for nearly 70 years across the world.

Established in 1948, the IRF is a not-for-profit organisation, with United Nations ECOSOC status since 1951. Accredited by the EU, ISO and CEN Committees, the IRF offers a huge network of members and partners, in more than 90 countries around the world.

With members from governments, business, international institutions and organisations, the IRF has evolved from a pure "industry" organisation to being a trusted partner of multi-lateral institutions, government, and business active in the field of transport and mobility.
